The Batavia Overseas Post 1197, VFW,
in Batavia Illinois has grown from a small group of men who
met in Batavia City Hall in 1935 to become one of the nation's
outstanding community veteran organizations. This has been
accomplished due to the devotion, leadership, sacrifice and
support of its members and the generous support of the community
it serves.
We welcome inquiries about membership,
donations, volunteer services, veterans benefits, community

Street (IL Route 25) on the east side of the Fox River in
Batavia, Illinois, about a half mile south of E. Wilson Street.
