The Ladies Auxiliary is collecting the labels and sending them to the VFW National Home in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, where they are using them to replace the old and worn out vans. Hines Blind Bingo Party The fourth Wednesday of every month our Post and Auxiliaries hold a Bingo Party for the Blind Vets that are at Hines Hospital. Along with Bingo food and drinks are served. Thanks to our own Jeanne Anderson and all of her help from the Post and Auxiliaries the vets enjoy an evening of fun. One such veteran from South Dakota, who during his stay at Hines was able to come to our post for our party. When he went home to his VFW and told them about what we do they so generously sent us a donation to help with our parties. Men's Auxiliary The VFW has started a Men's Auxiliary. Membership is composed of anyone who has or had a Wife, Mother, Father, Grandmother, Grandfather, Sister, Brother, son or daughter who qualified to be a member of the VFW.
