The Batavia VFW is invested in supporting the community through a number of groups that align with our mission to improve patriotism both locally and nationally.

Loyalty Day Community Picnic

Beginning this year, Post 1197 will host a Loyalty Day Community Picnic in lieu of the Loyalty Day Parade. The parade was started in 1975. Every year Post 1197 sponsored, organized, and operated the parade on the first Sunday in May. Post 1197 thanks everyone who has contributed to the funding of the parade and it’s volunteers.
